Dialogic Intervention

Private·16 Participants

About

This accredited programme enables graduates to intervene effectively in organizational and social challenges - and to realize potential opportunities that may otherwise be missed.

Participants are required to have a working knowledge of the Academy´s entry accreditation programme A Different Way of Working, or equivalent. It is a modular programme in three parts:

  • Module One: From reading the room to reading the system (in-person sessions)

  • Module Two: Introducing the Implicate Change pattern (online sessions)

  • Module Three: Acting in an organizational or social situation to resolve a problem or realize an opportunity (coached fieldwork)

The 2026 programme is delivered by Dialogie Associates. The faculty members are Peter Garrett and Jane Ball, who have extensive first-hand experience and knowledge of working with dialogue stretching back to the 1980s.

Accreditation is based on criteria determined by the Professional Standards and Accreditation Board of the Academy of Professional Dialogue. Graduates are entitled to use the initials APDI (Accredited Professional Dialogue Intervenor) and have the public recognition and endorsement of the Academy.

The programme originates from early work with David Bohm in the 1980´s and is based on his Implicate Change ontology and insight about the pervasive fragmentation of human consciousness.
